Jasprit Bumrah joins Mumbai Indians squad, boosts morale amid struggles
Bumrah has missed all IPL games this season so far, as he has been undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. It remains to be seen whether the team management, who will closely monitor his recovery, considers him for selection in the next match.
Hyderabad: A struggling Mumbai Indians got a major morale booster with pace ace Jasprit Bumrah joining the squad on Saturday.
Bumrah didn’t play a single IPL game this season and has been in the rehab programme at the BCCI Cetre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
It will be interesting to see whether the team management which will forward sure have to monitor closely his recovery will think of playing the next game or not.
For sure, there will be some rustiness and doubts too whether he is completely match-fit for the high octane and high profile IPL.
