Jawahar Nagar records highest rainfall in Hyderabad
Jawahar Nagar in Musheerabad received the highest rainfall in Hyderabad on Wednesday with 18 mm recorded by 7 pm. Himayatnagar and Ramanthapur followed closely, while ESS Jeedimetla saw the lowest rainfall in the city at just 2 mm

Hyderabad: Jawahar Nagar community hall in Musheerabad received 18 mm of rainfall up to 7 pm on Wednesday, making it the highest rainfall area in the city today, according to data uploaded by the Telangana Development Planning Society on its portal.
The downpour occurred during the afternoon hours and continued into the evening, leading to heavy traffic disruptions.
According to the rainfall data, the TSRTC employees building in Himayatnagar recorded 16 mm of rainfall, followed by Musheerabad. Subsequently, the Ramanthapur ward office recorded 15 mm, GHMC sports complex 14.8 mm, Moosarambagh ward office 13.5 mm, Barkas ESS Chandrayangutta 12.8 mm, Goutham Nagar function hall (Film Nagar) 11.5 mm, and Azampura ward office 10.8 mm.
Rainfall recorded at ESS Jeedimetla was 2.0 mm, the lowest across Hyderabad.
