As per rainfall data by the Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS), the district recorded an actual average rainfall of 248 mm as against the normal rainfall from June 1 to July 15, reflecting a deficit by 19 percent.
The overall rainfall of the district was gauged to be 328 mm as against normal rainfall of 271 mm from June 1 to July 8, showing an excess by 21 percent.
As per rainfall report available on Telangana Development Planning Society’s website, the average rainfall of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district was gauged to be 48 mm.
The State cumulative rainfall from June 1 to 8 is 47.7 mm against the normal rainfall of 22 mm with a deviation of 117 percent, Telangana Development Planning Society said in its report on Saturday.
According to the Telangana Development Planning Society, four villages in Telangana, namely Lakmapoor, Dasturabad, Palda, and Eesala Thakkallapalli, have registered temperatures above 44 degrees Celsius.
