JD Foundation extends financial aid to trader in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: The JD Foundation has extended financial assistance to an elderly trader, who was in dire straits, at Bhadrachalam in the district.
The trader, M Umamaheshwar Rao runs a pooja material shop at Sri Sai Baba Temple at Bhadrachalam. He faced difficulty in running the shop and shut it due to lack of money to buy the material and his trouble doubled when his wife suffered a paralytic stroke recently.
The JD Foundation members, who learnt about his plight, decided to help him and a member, Amit Varma of Hyderabad donated an amount of Rs 7000 to the trader to reopen the shop.
The amount was handed over to him by Chamber of Commerce secretary K Suresh Kumar, informed the foundation erstwhile Khammam convener K Murali Mohan Kumar on Wednesday.
The foundation members Ambika Suresh, K Nagaraju, Hansi, Aparna and Pavan Kumar were present.
