Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) and Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate a collaborative programme of education, research, and training in the field of environment and allied subjects.
The MoU was exchanged by JNTU-H Vice-Chancellor, Prof Katta Narasimha Reddy and EPTRI Director General, Adhar Sinha.
As part of the agreement, the JNTU-H would provide technical assistance to the EPTRI in implementing rainwater harvesting system and urban management, the university said in a press release. The mutual cooperation will also be on water conservation activities, exchange of information, teaching material, technological and scientific publications, mutual opportunities for faculty members and researchers to deliver lectures, internships etc., it added.
