JNTU-H Protect Force demands action against video recording incident in engineering college in Medchal

Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) – Hyderabad Students’ Forum and JNTU-H Protection Force demanded strict action against persons involved in secretly recording videos of girl students with a hidden mobile camera in the hostel washroom of an engineering college in Medchal.
In a representation submitted to JNTU-H Registrar Prof. K Venkateswara Rao, students on Thursday wanted the university to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
JNTU-H Protection Force members Rahul Naik and Gopal Chandu said the hostel ground floor’s CCTV footage between 12 am to 6 am on January 1 should be collected and a full-scale investigation must be conducted into the issue. Apart from revealing facts of the case, students demanded strict action against the culprits.
