Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) – Hyderabad on Wednesday directed all its constituent and affiliated colleges, both autonomous and non-autonomous, to defer examinations scheduled over the next three days. The decision follows an India Meteorological Department (IMD) alert of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in isolated places across the State.

In a message circulated to colleges, JNTU-Hyderabad Registrar Prof K Venkateswara Rao, citing the IMD and government advisories, asked all principals not to conduct any examinations during the next three days. He also instructed colleges to implement precautionary measures in their respective institutions and departments.
