JR Abhishek won the title after defeating Adhyayan Banerjee in a tie-break, with both scoring 10.5 points from 12 rounds. Gopalkrishna Maheshwari finished third with 10 points in a closely contested tournament

Hyderabad: J R Abhishek and Adhyayan Banerjee tied for first place with 10.5 points each out of 12 rounds, but in the tie-break, Abhishek of Chennai won the event. Adhyayan Banerjee finished second, while Gopalkrishna Maheshwari secured third place with 10 points out of 12 rounds.

Final placings: 1. JR Abhishek, 2. Adhyayan Banerjee, 3. Gopalkrishna Maheshwari, 4. P Harshit, 5. K V K Karthik, 6. Arpit Chauhan, 7. Srikara Darbha, 8. P S S Nandagopal, 9. P Lakshith and 10. J Malleswara Rao.
