Jubilee Hills bypoll: Candidates can file nominations online via ENCORE portal
Candidates contesting the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency can now file their nominations online through the ENCORE Portal, as per the Election Commission of India. Assistance is available through the Returning Officer’s office.
Hyderabad: Candidates contesting the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency can file their nominations online. Apart from filing nominations in person, the Election Commission of India has made a provision that candidates who wish to file their nominations online can do so through the ENCORE portal.
The ENCORE application is an integrated system that includes all the major activities related to the conduct of the election. Candidates can fill in nomination forms online via https://encore.eci.gov.in
However, it is mandatory that candidates who submit their nominations online also submit a hard copy physically with QR code verification, according to a press release.
The online process starts with a simple login to the Suvidha Portal (https://suvidha.eci.gov.in/), where the user needs to provide basic details on the profile page that are also used in the nomination form, such as the type of applicant, party name, voter ID number, candidate’s name, and other basic details.
For further assistance, candidates can contact the Returning Officer at the designated office, said the release.
