Junior assistant, attender trapped by ACB in Nirmal

Nirmal: A junior assistant and attender working with the Survey and Land Records department were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), allegedly while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an applicant here on Friday.

In-charge Adilabad ACB DSP VV Ramana Murthy said Gandhari Jadadish, the junior assistant, was apprehended while collecting the bribe from applicant Harish Kumar for issuing sethwar copy and tonch map of his land, with the help of attender Sirpure Prasanth. The two were produced before a special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar and remanded in judicial custody.
