Hyderabad: President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, judge of Karnataka High Court, as the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
Additional Secretary (Government of India) Rajinder Kashyap stated this in a notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
Meanwhile, as many as 76 Junior Civil Judges were transferred and posted to different courts, according to a notification issued by Registrar (Vigilance) of Telangana High Court. Instructions were also issued to handover charge of their post and also the posts, which they have been holding in full additional charge, to the judicial officers concerned.
All the officers were asked to relieve from their present posts and join in their new posts on or before October 18 without fail, by availing joining time as admissible. All the officers under orders of transfer were directed to pronounce their judgments/orders which were already reserved and join at their new stations.
