Kairos International School: Ramayana through puppetry is fun!
Puppets can meet the emotional needs of children by being their friends when they feel lonely.

At Kairos International School, Ramayana was made child-friendly on the eve of Sri Rama Navami by portraying it in the form of a puppet show. Tanav of stage IV made puppets and narrated Ramayana through them. All students thoroughly enjoyed watching it. It was a feast for the eyes where mythological characters were brought to life through puppets.
Principal of Kairos International Krishna Sri greeted students on the occasion and said that puppetry has played an important role in grabbing children’s attention, stimulate conversations and encourage shy children to communicate, making them more confident.
This helps in improving their social skills. Puppets can meet the emotional needs of children by being their friends when they feel lonely. Children enjoyed making puppets and decorating them. They expressed their feelings, thoughts and fears through puppets.
