Kakatiya University to present 564 gold medals, 387 PhDs at July 7 convocation
Pedestrians and outsiders would not be allowed into the university premises on July 6 and July 7.

Hanamkonda: Kakatiya University Vice Chancellor Prof. K. Pratap Reddy said all arrangements have been completed for the 23rd convocation to be held on July 7.
Speaking to the media along with Registrar Prof. V. Ramachandram and Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajender Katla here on Saturday, the VC said Governor and University Chancellor Jishnu Dev Varma would preside over the convocation, while Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Awardee, IICT Director Dr. D. Srinivas Reddy would be the chief guest.
As many as 60 gold medals, 56 PhDs in arts faculty, 161 gold medals, 96 PhDs in science, 48 gold medals, 21 PhDs in pharmacy, 66 gold medals, 49 PhDs in commerce and business management, 88 gold medals, 133 PhDs in social sciences, 25 gold medals, 18 PhDs in education, 72 gold medals, four PhDs in law and 44 gold medals, 10 PhDs in engineering and technology faculty would be presented at the convocation. In all, 564 gold medals and 387 PhDs would be presented.
Pedestrians and outsiders would not be allowed into the university premises on July 6 and July 7. These orders will be strictly enforced in view of the convocation arrangements, Registrar Prof. Ramachandram said.
