Kalyana Lakshmi cheques distributed in Siddipet

Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has presented Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to 103 beneficiaries from Chinnakodur Mandal of Siddipet Assembly constituency at his residence on Friday.

Hailing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for coming up with such a wonderful welfare scheme, the Minister said that Kalyana Lakshmi reduces the burden on parents of girl children.
Later, the Minister presented 62 sewing machines during a programme at Siddipet Urban Development Authority (SUDA) office.

The modern sewing machines, each costing Rs 28,000, were distributed to women from Thornala and Irkode villages with the support of the Anjaiah Memorial, an NGO working for the poor in the district.

Representatives of Anjaiah Memorial Arjun Goud and Rajeshwar and others were present.
