Kamareddy: Father and daughter die after drowning in pond

A 65-year-old man and his 35-year-old daughter died after drowning in Gorigoni pond at Lingayapally village in Kamareddy district. The father had visited his daughter's house after learning that her husband was unwell. Police have begun an investigation.

Nizamabad: A man and his daughter died after accidentally falling into Gorigoni pond at Linagayapally in Kamareddy.

The deceased have been identified as Rajitha (35) and her father S Pedda Narasimulu (65). They both were residents of Lingayapally village.

Narasimulu had visited his daughter’s house after learning that her husband was sick. On Thursday evening, both the father and his daughter had gone to the pond and had accidentally drowned in the pond, according to reports.

Rajitha is survived by her husband and two children. The Devunipally police has reached the spot and investigation is under progress, reports said. Eom
