Hyderabad: Karan Kannan’s all-round brilliance powered Chennai to a commanding 113-run win over Bihar in the 47th All India Rajiv Gandhi Under-19 Twenty-20 League Cricket Championship in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Batting first, Chennai posted a total of 185/5 in 20 overs. Harshan Pranav top-scored with a fluent 50 off 35 balls (8×4), while GM Gokul contributed a brisk 41 off 24 balls (8×4). Karan Kannan added a valuable 40 off 25 balls (6×4). For Bihar, Vickey Gupta shone 3 wickets haul.

In reply, Bihar’s batting crumbled as they were bowled out for just 72 runs in 15 overs. Karan Kannan impressed with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Chirag Gehlot chipped in with 3 wickets to seal the emphatic victory. In other matches, Hyderabad defeated Karnataka by 6 wickets and Telangana secured a 54-run win over Bihar.
