Karimnagar: Advocate from Rajasthan killed in road mishap

Karimnagar: An advocate from Rajasthan was killed in a road accident at Gundlapalli of Ganneruvaram mandal on Tuesday.
According to the police, the incident occurred when a speeding car rammed into a parked lorry at around 4.30 am. While advocate Rajesh Kumar (45) sustained serious injuries, driver Oda Krishna and another person Gangaram received minor injuries.
Police rushed to the spot and shifted injured persons to the district headquarters hospital, where Rajesh Kumar breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
Rajesh Kumar was scheduled to argue a cheating case registered against Gangaram, who was also a native of Rajasthan. Both Rajesh Kumar and Gangaram landed in Shamshabad airport on Monday night and took a taxi to reach Huzurabad court in the morning.
Ganneruvaram police registered the case and began an investigation into the accident.
