Passengers of two cars had a miraculous escape when a speeding truck rammed into one of them on the Rajiv Rahadari at Gundlapalli stage of Ganneruvaram mandal on Sunday. Though it was a major accident, none was hurt. Six persons including two children were travelling in the two cars.
According to the police, Kolla Surender, a native of Hyderabad and his family was heading to Vemulawada for a darshan of Rajarajeshwaraswamy, when the accident took place. Another vehicle driven by Veeravenkata Satyanarayana and headed to Karimnagar was following Surender’s vehicle.

Meanwhile, a lorry proceeding to Karimnagar from Hyderabad rammed Satyanarayana’s car from behind and as a result the car hit Surender’s vehicle which was in the front. However, none was injured in the accident.
