Karimnagar DEO surrendered to government

Collector Pamela Satpathy issued orders to relieve the DEO and hand over the position to the government. DIET College principal Mondaiah has been assigned additional responsibility as the interim DEO.

Karimnagar: District Education Officer, Janardhan Rao has been surrendered to the government for making derogatory comments on teachers.

Collector Pamela Satpathy issued orders by surrendering DEO to the government. DIET College principal Mondaiah was given additional charge as DEO.


While participating in the concluding session of in-service training for teachers held in Kothapalli on Saturday, Janardhan Rao made objectionable comments against teachers.

Teaching community was serious on the DEO as his comments went viral on teachers’ whatsapp groups. Democratic Teachers’ Federation on Tuesday wrote a letter to the school education director seeking action against DEO.
