Karimnagar: MPTC from Rekonda of Chigurumamidi mandal, Chada Shobha came on a stretcher to cast her vote in the MLC polls in Karimnagar. Shobha, who underwent surgery on her leg, is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
To exercise her vote, she arrived at Karimnagar ZP polling station in an ambulance from the hospital. Polling staff took her inside the polling station in a stretcher from where she cast her vote. On the other hand, Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender failed to exercise his vote as he failed to enroll his name as ex-officio members for Local Authorities Constituency elections.
