Karimnagar new mayor takes charge
Kolagani Srinivas assumed charge as the new Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar on Sunday. He performed pujas, signed his first file on drinking water and development works, and assured efforts for the growth of all divisions
Karimnagar: Kolagani Srinivas on Sunday assumed charge as the new Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar. The new mayor, along with family members, performed pujas in his chamber. After taking charge, he signed the first file to solve the drinking water problem and to take up various developmental works in newly merged villages with Rs 49 lakh.
Thanking the people for electing the BJP in Karimnagar, he thanked the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay, BJP state president Ramchander Rao, and party national and state leaders for choosing him as the Mayor.
He assured that he would strive hard for the development of all 66 divisions with the support of Union Minister Sanjay Kumar. Municipal Commissioner Praful Desai congratulated the new mayor by presenting a bouquet. Deputy Mayor Y Sunil Rao and others were present.
