Karimnagar police book 13 BJP workers over MLA camp office attack

The Karimnagar police have registered a case against 13 BJP workers following an attack on the local MLA camp office. The complaint was filed by the camp office in-charge, leading to charges under multiple BNS sections

Karimnagar: The Karimnagar police have registered a case against 13 BJP workers in connection with the attack on the Karimnagar MLA camp office on Thursday.

Based on the complaint lodged by camp office in-charge Raju, the police registered the case under BNS sections 189, 191(3), 329 (4), 324 (4), 292, 351 (2) r/w 190.


Earlier, BRS leaders, led by senior leader and former Mayor S Ravinder Singh lodged a complaint with Karimnagar two town police demanding action against the BJP leaders who were involved in the attack on the MLA camp office.

On the other hand, the BRS activists staged a protest at the R&B guest house and burnt an effigy of the BJP. They raised slogans against the Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
