Karimnagar police foil BJP activists’ attempt to storm Huzurabad MLA’s camp office

Karimnagar: Mild tension prevailed at Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy’s camp office when both BJP and BRS activists tried to attack each other.
In the wake of Padi Kaushik Reddy’s comments against the Union Minister of State for Home, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP activists tried to barge into the MLA camp office in Huzurabad.
Police, who closed the area with barricades well in advance anticipating troubles foiled their attempt to sneak into the office. Jostling took place when the agitating BJP activists tried to forcibly enter the office.
Meanwhile, BRS workers rushed to the spot and entered an argument with the BJP cadre. The area reverberated with slogans and anti-slogans. While the BRS raised slogans in favor of Kaushik Reddy, the BJP workers raised slogans praising Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Both the groups hurled sticks at each other. Police dispersed the workers by using mild force. A few of the BJP workers were taken into custody by the police.
