Kavery Foundation distributes groceries to tribals in Adilabad
Dr Appala Chakradhari, the founder chairman of the foundation and his team gave away the essentials, fruits and multi-vitamin drugs and medicines to help the tribals recover from seasonal diseases
Adilabad: Kavery Foundation, a Nirmal-town based voluntary organisation distributed groceries, banana fruits and medicines to 300 tribals in Adilabad Rural, Narnoor and Gadiguda mandals on Sunday.
Dr Appala Chakradhari, the founder chairman of the foundation, took part in the event. Chakradhari and his team gave away the essentials, fruits and multi-vitamin drugs and medicines to help the tribals recover from seasonal diseases. He advised them to practice physical distancing, wear face masks and sanitise hands. He told them to consume nutritious food to boost their immune system and to prevent Covid-19.
Tudumdebba, a tribal rights organisation district president Godam Ganesh, thanked Chakradhari for doing his bit for the hapless tribals.
