Kavion.ai and CBIT host national-level ‘AI 4 Impact’ hackathon

Kavion.ai, in collaboration with CBIT, hosted ‘AI 4 Impact,’ a four-day national-level hackathon and workshop in Hyderabad from April 15–18. The event featured a two-day workshop and a 30-hour hackathon, drawing over 280 participants from 15 institutions.

Hyderabad: Kavion.ai, in collaboration with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), organised ‘AI 4 Impact,’ a national-level hackathon and workshop focused on leveraging artificial intelligence for social good. Held from April 15 to 18, the four-day event combined learning and innovation through a structured workshop and an intensive hackathon.

The event began with a two-day hands-on workshop, followed by a 30-hour hackathon where participants developed scalable solutions addressing real-world challenges in domains such as healthcare and social welfare. It had over 130 attendees in the workshop and more than 75 teams comprising over 280 participants from 15 institutions across India.


Team Neo from Symbiosis University secured first place, while The Dead Coders from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET) stood second. The third position was shared by Team Abhila and Team Nexorithm from CBIT. 

Special mentions were awarded to teams from Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Woxsen University, Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology, and GRIET.

With a prize pool of Rs.1,00,000 and strong mentorship support, the event highlighted CBIT’s commitment to fostering innovation and developing impactful, technology-driven solutions.
