Kavion.ai, in collaboration with CBIT, hosted ‘AI 4 Impact,’ a four-day national-level hackathon and workshop in Hyderabad from April 15–18. The event featured a two-day workshop and a 30-hour hackathon, drawing over 280 participants from 15 institutions.
Two senior faculty members from GRIET, Hyderabad, Dr. Swadesh Kumar Singh and Dr. Ram Subbiah, have been named among the top 2% scientists globally in a prestigious report by Stanford University and Elsevier. Recognised for their consistent research impact, both professors have earned this distinction for the third year in a row.
The list, which comprises the world's leading researchers and accounts for around 2% of all scientists globally, is based on standardized statistics on citations, h-index, and a variety of bibliometric indicators.
The speakers covered topics such as 'Generating Capacity Reliability Evaluation in Electric Power Systems' and 'Techniques of Optimal Placement and Capacity of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for Community Use'.
