Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha has raised serious concern over the rising incidents of food poisoning in government schools and hostels across Telangana, calling it a reflection of administrative neglect under the Congress government.
“In just one day, 50 cases have been reported across three districts. How many more innocent children must suffer before this irresponsible government wakes up (to take action)?” she questioned.
Taking to X, Kavitha said while Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was obsessed with political theatrics and photo-ops, students who were the future of Telangana, were suffering due to negligence. She urged the State government to address the issue immediately. She reminded that every child had the right to safe, nutritious food and dignity.
“But today, under Congress rule, Telangana stands as a broken model of governance where the government has simply chosen not to care,” she added.
