KCR condoles demise of senior journalist Damodar

BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao condoled the death of senior video journalist Damodar of India Today. He said Damodar had been active in covering the Telangana movement since the party’s early days and described his passing as a great loss.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday condoled the untimely death of senior video journalist Damodar, who was working with India Today.

In his condolence message, Rao recalled that Damodar had been actively involved in covering the Telangana movement from the early days when the BRS (then TRS) was founded.

“Damodar was a dedicated journalist who played an active role in reporting the Telangana agitation since the party’s inception,” he said.

Describing Damodar’s death while on duty as a great loss, the BRS president extended his sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
