KCR expresses concern over floods in Telangana, asks party cadre to extend help
BRS president and former CM K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed concern over heavy rains and floods in Telangana and directed party cadre to actively support relief operations. He instructed KTR to mobilise workers as several districts reel under submerged houses, power outages and transport disruptions.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday expressed deep concern over the severe disruption caused by heavy rains and floods across Telangana. He spoke to party leaders in the flood-hit districts and directed them to remain accessible to the public and actively participate in relief measures.
He also instructed party working president KT Rama Rao to mobilise BRS cadres and extend immediate assistance to those affected.
From Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak and Warangal to Khammam, several districts have been hit by floods, with houses submerged, roads cut off and transport services paralysed, leaving people in distress. Communication and power network has been severely affected, with people struggling to access safe drinking water.
Chandrashekhar Rao said the situation demanded urgent attention to safeguard lives and provide necessary relief to the people grappling with the calamity.
