He hoped that the people of the State would overcome present hardships and challenges, while wishing that Telangana would regain its past glory and move forward on the path of progress.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao also conveyed greetings on the occasion of Ugadi, wishing that the new year would usher in victory of good over evil and bring auspiciousness, long life and good health to the people.
BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao said Ugadi symbolised the blend of sweet and bitter experiences in life, much like the traditional Ugadi Pachadi which combines different tastes. He wished that the Telugu new year would bring happiness, prosperity and freedom from illness to all sections of society.
