KCR pays tributes to tribal hero Kumram Bheem on birth anniversary
BRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao honoured Gond hero Kumram Bheem on his birth anniversary, highlighting his role in inspiring the Telangana statehood movement. Rao reaffirmed the government’s commitment to Bheem’s vision through welfare and development initiatives for tribal communities.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao paid rich tributes to tribal icon Kumram Bheem on his birth anniversary on Wednesday. He said the Telangana icon was the inspiration behind the Telangana statehood movement.
In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao said the Gond hero’s struggle for his self-respect and rights over “Jal, Jungle, Zameen” laid the foundation for the fight for Telangana’s rights and self-respect. He recalled that during the ten-year BRS rule, his government worked to realise Bheem’s vision by implementing welfare and development programmes for tribal communities.
“It is a blessing to pay tribute to Kumram Bheem by working in line with his ideals and striving for the upliftment of tribal communities,” he said.
