“We are now able to achieve the development that was not seen during the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh,” he said. As many as 1.33 lakh government jobs and 15 lakh private jobs were provided after the formation of Telangana, water was supplied to 2.15 crore acres to meet irrigation requirements.

The Minister said modernization works of SRSP project would be completed soon to fill it with Kaleshwaram water from 300 km shortly. Works pertaining to package 21 to provide water to Armoor, Balkonda and Nizamabad Rural to irrigate two lakh acres have already started.

He later inspected two lands at DEO and Tahsildar offices for construction of an integrated market. He asked officials concerned to send proposals to start the works.
