Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao left his Erravelli farmhouse for Hyderabad to visit senior party leader and former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who is undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Party sources said Chandrashekhar Rao had been closely monitoring the former MLA’s condition since Sunday morning and had instructed senior leaders to ensure that he received the best possible medical care. He decided to personally meet the doctors and reassure Sudarshan Reddy’s family members.

Earlier in the day, BRS working president KT Rama Rao visited Yashoda Hospital and met the medical team treating Sudarshan Reddy. He reviewed his health condition and the treatment being administered before interacting with the former MLA’s family members and assuring them of the party’s support. He also requested the doctors to provide the best possible treatment to the senior BRS leader.

BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao also visited the hospital and held discussions with the doctors regarding Sudarshan Reddy’s health and the progress of his treatment. Minister D Seethakka, BJP MP Eatela Rajender and several senior BRS leaders also visited the hospital to enquire about Sudarshan Reddy’s condition.

Sudarshan Reddy was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad from a private hospital in Hanamkonda after suffering a heart attack at his residence earlier on Sunday. His condition is reported to be stable, according to the doctors.
