KCR hospitalised due to mild fever

BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda on Thursday after running a slight temperature.

Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda on Thursday after running a slight temperature. His condition remains stable.

According to the hospital authorities, the BRS chief was admitted to the hospital with general weakness, where the doctors conducted some tests. Preliminary investigations revealed high blood sugar and low sodium levels. All the other vital parameters are within the normal limits.

“He is kept under observation and medication started to control diabetes and increase sodium levels. His condition is stable,” the doctors said in a press note issued on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy enquired about the health of Chandrashekhar Rao, after he came to know about the latter getting admitted to hospital. The Chief Minister spoke to medical experts and officials and directed them to ensure the best treatment to the BRS chief. He also wished speedy recovery and good health to Rao.
