Khammam: TRS Lok Sabha party leader and Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao on Friday distributed khaki shirts to around 150 hamalis in memory of his parents. The shirts were donated by Nama Muthaiah Trust as part of its shirts distribution programme. TRS leaders Patipandla Prasad, JVS Chowdhury and Bhima Sridhar, United Merchant Association president Hanj Raj Jakotia and its Secretary Pallapothula Saibaba handed the shirts to hamalis.
Speaking on the occasion, they lauded the MP’s initiative of donating shirts in memory of his parents Nama Muthaiah and Varalakshmi. The hamalis who received the new shirts sewn with the name of the MP’s parents expressed happiness and thanked the MP.
