Khammam: District Collector Muzammil Khan called upon the public not to offer bribes to any government official and said if the bribe was asked concerned persons should give information to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
The Collector along with ACB Khammam DSP, Y Ramesh released a publicity poster of ACB’s toll free number 1064 at his chambers here on Tuesday. He said that corruption was an obstacle to the development of the country and eradication of corruption was everyone’s responsibility.

For reporting corruption to ACB Khammam range officials telephone numbers; 9154388981/ 0874-2228663 could be contacted or the officials could be contacted through the e-mail dsp_acb_kmm@telangana.gov.in, the Collector said.
ACB DSP Ramesh informed that in connection with International Anti-Corruption Day (United Nations Convention against Corruption) on December 9, Telangana ACB was observing Anti-Corruption Week from December 3.
The aim of observing the Anti-Corruption Week was to create awareness among the common public and involve them in combat against corruption. Activities like administering anti-corruption pledge, distributing and pasting pamphlets/posters with the ACB toll free number as well the contact numbers of officials at the public places would be taken up during the week, Ramesh said.
In a similar programme in Kothagudem, district Collector Jitesh V Patil released the ACB publicity poster. ACB Inspector N Shekhar and others were present.
