Khammam: Acid tanker leak causes traffic jam during mid-night at Tallada

In the incident that took place during mid-night hours on Saturday hydrochloric acid leaked from the tanker and spilled on the main road causing smoke to cover the road.

Khammam: Traffic came to a standstill on Khammam-Tallada main road for over a couple of hours as a lorry hit an acid tanker while trying to avoid a paddy harvester near Ambedkar Nagar in Tallada mandal in the district.

In the incident that took place during mid-night hours on Saturday hydrochloric acid leaked from the tanker and spilled on the main road causing smoke to cover the road. The police reached the spot and cleared the traffic after removing the damaged tanker and lorry from by wee hours on Sunday.
