Khammam archer Vikranth wins gold and silver at Lenin Volga archery meet

Hyderabad: Mekala Vikranth of combined Khammam district bagged a gold in the 20 m event and a silver in the 10 m event in the Indian Round category of the Cherukuri Lenin Volga Memorial Kids Archery Championship at VVIT University in Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), according to P Shankaraiah, his mentor and well-known coach.

Khammam District Archery Association president S Sarangapani and general secretary P Shankaraiah congratulated Vikranth and hoped he would continue to improve and win medals at the highest level.
