Khammam Collector Muzammil Khan tells students to work towards achieving their goals
District Collector Muzammil Khan visited Zilla Parishad High School at Jalagam Nagar in Khammam rural mandal on Wednesday. Donning the role of a teacher he taught a mathematics lesson to the sixth class students.
Khammam: District Collector Muzammil Khan exhorted students to start their journey towards achieving goals at a young age and prepare themselves to reach the goals.
He visited Zilla Parishad High School at Jalagam Nagar in Khammam rural mandal on Wednesday. Donning the role of a teacher he taught a mathematics lesson to the sixth class students.
He interacted with the students asking about teaching methods in the school, whether there were any problems, facilities required in the school, what they want to become when they grow up and their life ambitions.
Khan advised students to write down their goals in the diary every morning when they wake up. Every student should take advantage of the available time and be ahead in studies and games.
Every day some specific time should be set aside for studying and playing games at home and act accordingly. Students should take care of their health and growth, take nutritious food and reduce the habits of eating junk food, he suggested.
The Collector handed over a cash cheque of Rs 50,000 to the headmaster Samson to install fans and lights in the classrooms, carry out the necessary electrical work, conversion of electricity connection from two-phase to three-phase
He told the headmaster to submit the details of dues to be paid in respect of the mid-day meal scheme as well as for furniture and other facilities required in the school.
