Khammam: In a notable display of honesty, an auto rickshaw driver here has returned gold jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh to a passenger who forgot the ornaments in his auto. The driver Kampelli Ravi of Anand Bhavan autostand of TRSKV TATU handed over the jewellery to police on finding the ornaments in the vehicle on Thursday.

The woman passenger who lost the jewellery later approached the one-town police and informed them about her loss. The one-town SI P Venkanna handed over lost jewellery to the woman in the presence of the auto rickshaw driver. CI Chitti Babu, SI and TRSKV TATU district president Paloncha Krishna appreciated the auto driver for his integrity.
