Khammam: IGP S Chandrasekhar Reddy urges trainee cops to dedicate themselves to public service at passing out parade
Speaking on the occasion, the IGP emphasized that the newly inducted constables must fulfill their duties, including protecting the public and those entrusted to their care, effectively. He urged them to treat people with respect, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld. Highlighting the importance of discipline in police work, he also stressed the need for maintaining physical fitness, as the pressures of the job require officers to stay healthy and resilient.

Khammam: Multi Zone-1 Inspector-General of Police (IGP), S Chandrasekhar Reddy told trainee constables to dedicate themselves to public service by increasing credibility towards society.
He along with Khammam Commissioner of Police, Sunil Dutt and Kothagudem Superintendent of Police, B Rohith Raju attended the passing out parade of 263 armed reserve and civil trainee police constables who completed nine months of basic induction training at the City Police Training Centre here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said that the constables who have joined the police department should carry out the responsibilities, such as protection of the public and others entrusted to them, effectively.
Chandrasekhar Reddy wanted the constables to behave properly with people without disturbing their rights and self-respect. Discipline was very important in police work. As police would be under constant work pressure in order to maintain health fitness was very important.
People would trust police if they perform duties with integrity and honesty without corruption and temptations. Telangana police have a good reputation in crime control and use of new technology. The new laws learned during the training should be effectively implemented, he noted.
In the 8th batch which started on February 21 this year, 92 AR constables from Rachakonda and 171 civil constables from Ramagundam and Vikarabad have completed training and were ready to join the duties. Mementos were given to the candidates who excelled in the training.
AR constables P Raghu and K Kishore from Rachakonda, civil constables from Ramagundam G Prashanth, M Naveen Kumar, D. Pradeep, best all rounder K Harish were presented mementoes by the IGP.
Additional DCPs (Admin) Naresh Kumar and Prasad Rao (L&O), additional DCPs (AR) Kumaraswamy and Vijaya Babu, ACPs Ramanamurthy, Tirupati Reddy, Raghu, Rahaman, Ravi, Srinivasulu, Sambaraju, Narsaiah, Sushil Singh, Police Association president Srinivas and others were present.
