Khammam judge Rajagopal elected unopposed as TSJOA president
As many as 433 judicial officers are expected to cast their vote in the elections. Election results will be announced on July 27.

Khammam: Khammam district judge, Guntha Rajagopal, has been elected unanimously as the president of Telangana State Judicial Officers Association (TSJOA).
He was elected unopposed as another judge who had filed a nomination for the post withdrew the nomination on Wednesday. Nampally (CBI unit) Additional District Judge J Maitreyi was elected unanimously as the woman representative of the association.
Elections were scheduled to be held on July 19 to elect three vice presidents, one general secretary, three joint secretaries and 12 executive committee members of the association.
As many as 433 judicial officers are expected to cast their vote in the elections. Election results will be announced on July 27.
The newly elected president of the TSJOA, Rajagopal said that he would work to ensure speedy justice to the petitioners, to establish new courts with the support from the High Court and the State government besides appointments and timely promotions of the judicial staff. He had also served as the TSJOA president in the past.
