Khammam: The district BRS president, MLC Tata Madhusudhan has strongly condemned the attack on a BRS worker at Bendalapadu village in Chandrugonda mandal of Kothagudem district.

The BRS worker, Kodem Ravi was beaten up by Congress workers at a meeting organised at the village on Sunday to implement four schemes announced by the State government. He sustained serious head injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Khammam.

Madhusudhan along with former Aswaraopet MLA M Nageswara Rao visited the hospital to check the health condition of Ravi and spoke to his family members. He assured that the BRS would fight for justice for him and always stand by Ravi.

Speaking to the media the MLC said that it was very shameful that such an attack took place during an official meeting. The BRS party condemns the attitude of the Congress workers and would see that everyone involved in the attack was punished.

BRS leaders Bellam Venugopal, Meda Mohan Rao and others from Aswaraopet Assembly were present.
