Khammam SBIT inks pact with HIEE

Khammam: The city-based Swarna Bharathi Institute of Technology (SBIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hyderabad Institute of Electrical Engineering for training its students.
The SBIT chairman Gundala Krishna on Friday said that the MoU with Hyderabad Institute of Electrical Engineering (HIEE) would help to offer job-oriented training to the electrical engineering students of the college.
As part of the MoU, the college’s second, third and final year students would be given access to practical-based seminars, industrial visits, real-time project training, skill development classes and placements, the college principal Dr G Raj Kumar said.
The SBIT Electrical Engineering Department head Dr T Charan Singh stated that a special focus would be laid on training the students to help them secure jobs in multinational companies with assistance from the HIEE. The HIEE founder & CEO Madanmohan Koukuntla, SBIT directors Ch Satyanarayana, Dr, AVV Siva Prasad, G Praveen Kumar, polytechnic college principal, Dr B Ravi and others were present at the signing of MoU.
