Khammam two-wheeler mechanics provide financial assistance to a newlywed

Khammam: The Khammam Municipal Corporation Two-Wheeler Mechanics’ Union has provided financial assistance to the daughter of a mechanic who was recently married.
A two-wheeler mechanic, Mora Veeraiah of BK Bazaar in Khammam, has been practising his trade for the past 30 years. On the occasion of his daughter Jyothi’s wedding, a marriage gift in the form of a cheque worth Rs 10,000 was presented by the association.
Union president Vangala Kondala Rao stated that the union had so far provided marriage gifts worth Rs 1.40 lakh to the daughters of 14 fellow mechanics. Assistance and support would be extended on behalf of the union to every mechanic holding membership.
He said the union was able to undertake various service-oriented activities because all the mechanics stood united in solidarity. Union leaders Linganna, Boyina Murali, Shaik Subhani, Shaik Bandhi Ali, Shaik Usman, Prakash and others were present.
