Giving details of the case to the media persons here on Monday, Commissioner of Police (CP), Vishnu S Warrier informed that the theft took place on the night of May 4 at the residence of a pawn broker, Sivaprakash Darak.

Based on his complaint, Khammam CCS and Karepally police took up investigation and examined the CCTV footage and employed other technology to crack the case. During the investigation the police suspected the role of Sivaprakash’s wife, Archana Darak and questioned her.

The CP appreciated the CCS Inspectors of Police, P Naveen and E Srinivas, Karepally CI, Srinivas, SI, Suresh, constables, K Srinivas, B Mangithya and M Gajendra for their efforts in cracking the case.
