Khammam: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been extending financial assistance to every person who applied for assistance under Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), said ZP Chairman, Lingala Kamal Raju.
He handed over CMRF cheques worth Rs 27.71 lakh to a total of 69 beneficiaries from Madhira Assembly constituency at MP Nama Nageshwar Rao’s camp office in Khammam on Wednesday.

He said the MP has been taking special care in providing relief to poor people through the CMRF. Madhira constituency stands at top in erstwhile Khammam district in terms of having highest number of CMRF beneficiaries.
Rythu Bandhu Samithi district convener, Nallamala Venkateswara Rao noted that financial assistance under CMRF has been offering great relief to those who spent huge amounts of money on medical treatment.
Nageswara Rao has set up a special team to process and follow up the CMRF applications submitted by people in seven Assembly constituencies under Khammam Parliament constituency, he informed.
TRS senior leader Maddineni Baby Swarnakumari noted that Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao was taking special care for the speedy release of assistance through CMRF to the applicants.
