Former Zilla Parishad chairman Lingala Kamal Raju accused the Congress government of failing to supply adequate urea to farmers in Telangana, forcing them to stand in long queues during crop seasons. He recalled that under K Chandrashekhar Rao’s rule, farmers never faced shortages and even had fertiliser delivered to their homes.
Senior BRS leaders Sandra Veeraiah and Lingala Kamal Raju have accused the Congress government of abusing power and unleashing violence against their party workers in Khammam. They alleged that Congress workers, backed by Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, attacked BRS supporters in Madhira constituency and other villages, while police acted in a biased manner.

A group of BRS leaders and activists led by former zilla parishad chairman Lingala Kamal Raju were stopped at the school entrance when they tried to visit the school as part of ‘Gurukul Bata’ programme being organised across the State to know the conditions at the residential schools.
The farmers explained to the BRS leaders that the traders and officials denied procuring cotton without even examining the cotton they brought to the market.
Ajay Kumar said that the BRS was strong in Madhira constituency, even if the party has no MLA locally, the cadres and workers were doing excellent work in strengthening the party.
