Nirmal: Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju faced sharp criticism for his unruly behaviour and abusive language towards locals who questioned him over delays in fulfilling his poll promises during canvassing for a Congress candidate in a colony in Khanapur on Saturday.
Bojju was touring an SC colony as part of the campaign when residents sought answers on his unkept promises. Irritated by their questions, he lashed out at them and openly declared that he would not sanction Indiramma houses for the beneficiaries. He was reportedly upset after being questioned by the locals over his performance.
Residents expressed displeasure over his conduct, stating that he should have patiently heard their concerns, rather than losing his temper and threatening to deny welfare scheme benefits.
