Kharge slams Modi govt, says orchestrated hate foisted by BJP

The Congress has consistently voiced criticism of the government regarding concerns about unemployment, price rises, and various other issues.

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said that only 12.2 lakh formal Jobs were created in the last five years and unimaginable unemployment, painful price rise and orchestrated hate foisted by the BJP has resulted in this disaster of a situation.

Taking a swipe at the government, Kharge in a tweet said, “India under Modi government has added only 12.2 Lakh formal Jobs in past 5 years. That means an average of just 2,44,000 jobs per year. We are not inventing this figure. It is the Modi government which created this narrative that EPF Regular Contributors = Creation of Formal Jobs. The EPF data corroborates this.”

He said, “BJP promised 2 Crore Jobs per year. That means 18 Crore Jobs could have been created in 9 years. Our youth is staring at a dark future.No wonder, there is anger and violence on the streets. The BJP has miserably failed to provide Employment.”

“Unimaginable unemployment, painful price rise and orchestrated hate foisted by BJP has resulted in this disaster of a situation. For the survival of our poor and middle class, the BJP needs to be thrown out of power. India has had enough,” said Kharge, is Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

He also attached a report to back his claims.  The Congress has been critical of the government over the issue of unemployment, price rise and several other issues.
